Emily, Patient Care Coordinator and Office Manager

Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry EmilyHello! I am a Seattle native and have lived almost my entire life in this beautiful city. During college, I spent 2 years on the East Coast in Rhode Island pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Hospitality Management at Johnson and Wales University. After moving back to Seattle, I decided to pursue a career in Pediatric Dentistry because I have always had a deep love for helping people and working with children. I feel so lucky to be able to work with your children and provide them a fun and easy experience! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, traveling, and knitting new creations.

Breanna, Dental Assistant

picture of DSC 0216I was born in Seattle and raised right here in this most beautiful corner of the Pacific Northwest. I attended Seattle Pacific University, working as a nanny while earning a BA in Fashion Merchandising. I spent several years in retail before deciding on a career change. I began my new adventure in the dental field at MIPD in November 2016. I feel very fortunate to be working with children again and I enjoy helping them feel confident about their smiles. In my free time you will find me exploring the outdoors, crafting and creating, or enjoying the company of family and friends. My favorite activity at the moment is time spent with my niece - she lights up my world.

Gabrielle, Dental Assistant

Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry Gabby I’ve always dreamed of pursing a career in dentistry, ever since I was a little girl. I was born and raised in the heart of L.A. and moved to Seattle in 2014 to attend Seattle University where I graduated with a B.S. in Biology. I am excited and very grateful for the opportunity to gain experience in pediatric dentistry as I work towards applying for dental school. I am most passionate about transforming a child’s often frightful dental experience into a positive, memorable one. My days become so much brighter whenever I have the ability to personally connect with a child and can educate them about the benefits of oral hygiene. In my spare time, I volunteer at Hilltop House Retirement Home, enjoy reading a good book at a local coffee shop, hiking the PNW mountains & doing yoga.

Jasmeen, Dental Assistant

Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry Jasmeen Hello! I was born in Punjab, India and moved to Seattle when I was 5. I was raised in Seattle for most of my life and attended University of Washington to complete a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health. I adore working with children and teaching them about dental hygiene. One of my favorite things about pediatric dentistry is to create a comfortable environment for children that are nervous about their dental visits. My goal is to attend dental school in the future and become a pediatric dentist. During my free time, I love hanging out with my younger cousins, cooking, and dancing.

Atoofa, Dental Assistant

Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry Atoofa My name is Atoofa. I’m a dental assistant here at Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry. If it’s too hard to pronounce, my close friends and family members call me toof (like tooth! Haha). Born in Houston, TX, I moved to Seattle, WA in 2011. My hobbies include basketball, dancing, and weightlifting. Any free time I have, I aim to be as active as possible. Outside of work, I love solo traveling and hiking. Traveling gave me a new perspective on the various cultures and foods around the world. Feel free to ask me about my experiences of the places I’ve been. I graduated in 2017 from University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Anthropology. I decided in the long run I wanted to pursue pediatric dentistry, and currently am on my journey to become a dentist. I enjoy the pediatric world, and making children laugh and smile, along with helping them achieve a beautiful smile.
